Education · for schools

The lesson on the big screen. Every pupil plays along.

Quizzes, simulations and classroom tournaments on the teacher's screen. Pupils join with a room code and play from their own phone. JoTo supplies the content as a subscription, and can make a custom game for your subject on request.

On the teacher's screen, a machine the class can play with. Every phone holds one control: a crank, a slider, a valve.

What pupils play

Three ways the class plays together.

Everyone looks at the same screen, and everyone has a turn. Nobody watches from the back.

Quiz

The whole class answers at once.

Each pupil answers from their own phone, and the teacher's screen shows the whole class.

Simulation

A mechanism pupils turn themselves.

A machine or simulation on the screen, and on every phone a control: a crank, a slider, a valve. The class drives the explanation together.

Tournament

Teams, rounds and a scoreboard.

A classroom tournament on the teacher's screen, with teams playing from their phones.

In the classroom

A teacher's screen, pupils' phones and a room code.

  1. Open it on the screen

The teacher starts the game on the classroom screen or the digital board.

  2. Join with the code

Pupils type the room code on their phone. Their phone becomes the controller.

  3. Play the lesson

The class plays together, and the screen shows what the room did.

A product of its own, built for schools and never bolted onto JoTo Party, because privacy, procurement, curriculum, classroom management and school IT all differ from a living room.

Pricing

A subscription. JoTo supplies the content.

You don't build lessons into games yourself. The subscription includes the content; a game made for your own subject is a separate project.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do pupils need an account?

No. Pupils join with the room code on the teacher's screen and play from their own phone, without an account or an app.

Is this JoTo Party in a classroom?

No. It uses the same idea, one screen and every phone a controller, but it is a separate product built for schools.

Who makes the content?

JoTo does. The subscription includes the quizzes, simulations and tournaments, so a teacher can start without building anything.

Can you make a game for our own subject?

Yes. A custom applied game is made on request and quoted per project. It runs on the same platform as the rest.

What does it cost?

That depends on the subscription, Class or School, and a custom game is quoted on its own. Get in touch and you will get a price.
